The 25th annual meeting of the UK-Belize association featured a number of presentations and discussions related to conservation and development in Belize.

- Jordan Craig (Belize’s Deputy High Commissioner to the UK) provides a summary of current affairs in Belize
- Nick Brokaw and Sheila Ward explore old-growth forests in northwest Belize
- Professor Steve Blackmore (formerly of the Natural History Museum in London and Edinburgh’s Royal Botanical Gardens) reflects on 30 years of natural history in Belize
- Remembering the late Sharon Matola (Belize Zoo) and John Burton (World Land Trust) for their contributions to conservation in Belize
Overall, the meeting provided an opportunity for attendees to learn and discuss about important issues related to Belizean conservation and development.
